Private Tours of Jerusalem

I have guided more than 2,000 tours in over a decade for visitors of all ages. Jerusalem is an amazing place to visit: fascinating and has so much to offer! However, it is also complex with it's many alleyways, stairs/hills, lesser known impressive sites, and behind-the-scenes stories/issues.

An expert guide is key for the best experience in this complex city - my clients have been very happy they have chosen to tour with me.

  • Tissues and hand sanitizer for under-stocked bathrooms.

  • An extra battery pack to charge devices can help ensure you won't miss out on any moments you would like to capture.

  • If you will be visiting holy sites, you will want modest clothes that cover shoulders and knees or a scarf put on over whatever you are wearing. No low-cut shirts. Pants, skirts, capris are fine. Men require a head covering for the Western Wall.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION, PLEASE READ TO THE END OF THE PAGE

  • Fees for private tours are for your group, not per person.

  • Entrance fees are detailed on the itinerary, not included in the guiding fee.

  • Prices listed are for a group of 1 - 10 adults/children during low season. Ask regarding fees for larger groups/high season.

  • Fees include: customized itinerary, booking reservations, games and prizes for children.

  • A 25% non-refundable deposit (paid online by credit card) is required to hold the date. 100% of fees are due one week before the tour.

  • If any transportation is included in the itinerary, drivers will be paid directly on the tour day. Transportation is only with professional drivers, not in rental cars.

  • Please see our FAQ page for all terms and conditions.

  • Important Reminder! Fill out your ETA-IL at least 72 hours before your trip to Israel

*Travel health insurance is essential and we highly recommend trip cancellation insurance as well. Trip cancellation insurance can help you in case of flight cancellations or any other unexpected circumstance that could lead to financial loss for your trip you have planned. We can refer you to an excellent insurance agent based in Israel. Ask me for more information.

*We do not plan itineraries for tour days we are not guiding. We can recommend an professional trip planner. Sites such as Yad Vashem, Masada, restaurants, private guides and drivers and many activities now require advance reservations. Due to fluctuations in the last few years because of Covid and the war, some sites have closed and some have new hours or reseration requirements. There are also new exciting places to visit. A trip planner has become essential for a successful trip to Israel.

*We are not able to guarantee a nut-free environment on a tour. Please let us know about allergies so we can do our best to avoid allergens on the tour.

*A half day tour is the minimum tour length for private tours. If a group has less time for a tour, the fee will be for a half day tour.

Note: While it might seem like younger children would do better with a shorter tour than 4 hours, in our experience, the half day is perfect - if it's a tour designed for children.  It's important to have enough time for walking between sites, snack/bathroom breaks as well as time to provide explanations (and do challenges to win prizes) in a relaxed and interesting way.
